Testimonials

"Over the last 20 years I have worn Wild Things outerwear on all of my Polar Expeditions. Marie "Titoune" is the best designer in the outdoor industry. Her one piece suits, insulated parkas and Denali parkas have keep my team members and I alive in the worst cold weather conditions on the planet. We have worn this clothing in both Polar Regions, Greenland and the Arctic for durations up to 7 months and it kept us warm and snug. We have never had a case of frostbite using Marie's systems and designs. I am proud to have worked with Marie and her designers over the years and their hard work (and patience) have been instrumental in our success and safety."

"My name is Joe Lentini. I am a professional climbing guide in Northern New Hampshire (for the last thirty-two years). The use of proper outdoor clothing has always been paramount with me. I spend much of my winter ice climbing and mountaineering on Mt Washington where thirty degrees below zero temperatures and winds in excess of sixty miles per hour are common. For thirty years I worked for Eastern Mountain Sports (director of their climbing schools as well as product consultant and tester), a large outdoors specialty retail chain. I am intimately aware of the selections of kid’s outdoor clothing available today. I feel many outdoor lines pander to parents and are not true outdoors products. As a climbing professional I can get almost anything I want or need at a highly discounted price. How my children dress for the outdoors is critical to me. My oldest son Dominic (eleven years old) is a serious outdoor user. His outerwear of choice is his Wild Things Primaloft jacket (I can’t get it off him). I couldn’t be happier. It has everything I look for in my outdoor gear."

"The Andinista expresses the "Light is Right" ideal better than any other product. It's the most versatile pack for the weight that exists; use it to carry the bulky gear to the base and then compress it down for the route. I used it during an alpine style attempt on Nanga Parbat's massive Rupal Face and on Denali's Czech Direct. I've had an Andinista in my gear arsenal since 1987."

"My pack has been utilized for three years in adventure races and climbing forays from New Zealand to the Rocky Mountains. Whether using it on a one day lightweight outing in the White [Mountains] of New Hampshire, or on a 5-7 day adventure race, the pack has been a great asset. Perhaps the strongest attributes are the packs's reliability, comfort and versatility; and no other pack will last anywhere near as long."

"Well it's back down to Fitzroy to finish off the damn route. I'm getting to old to delay anymore. Over 3000 feet of pristine, but rough granite on the north face of the Cassarato Pillar. A beautiful route with tough logistics, a 7000 vertical feet of approach. My Wild Things pack has been a revelation- super comfortable carrying loads up those gnarly glaciers and tough as nails when you have to haul on the hard bits."
