Three decades of alpine experiences – elation, misery, epics and near misses go into the design of every tactical piece we make. Since 1981 we have been producing state of the art lightweight climbing equipment and clothing for expeditions and alpine sport. Unfettered by constraint, our alpine-style approach to design and development allows us to put the needs of the user first.

With over twenty five US Military contracts to date, our dedication to making outdoor life-safety apparel almost speaks for itself.

Functional excellence drives design. For the warfighter this allows him or her to give 100% attention to the mission as our products fade into the background. Styling and feature sets are engineered to enhance performance.

Detailed Specifications

Our designers provide detailed Tech Packs to our production team. The Tech Pack lays out our product specifications, including detailed design and construction drawings, as well as crisp grade rules and tolerances. Tech Packs provide our manufacturing partners with a blueprint for the product, clearly communicating our expectations for size, shape and performance. 

Lab Testing

We employ industry leading labs and agencies to perform third party fabric and design testing to ensure that our WT Tactical products will perform at the highest standards in the field.

Field Testing

Wild Things considers feedback from the user to be critical to design of our garments. In order to engineer products that perform well in the field, we utilize seasoned experts to challenge our gear in some of the world's most demanding conditions. Our users provide valuable feedback that is incorporated directly into the design process, and their experience helps us bring innovation to new and existing products.
